Guard and Frame Material: Twist Pattern Damascus with spacer

Comments: This knife features a frame handle. This means the handle is what it sounds like, a frame. The Damascus frame has scales added to it. The blade tang is inserted through the guard and into the frame. A more difficult way to build a knife is as the guard and frame need to be very precise to fit together. Also, this knife features the “Museum Fit.” Wess saw this on a Jim Schmidt knife. The handle material is just slightly above the tang. Difficult to do, because of the precision required to keep the handle material equal distance above the tang around the entire handle.
