Comments: Great knife for a day hike. Comes with excellent serrations on top to help create kindling. Tucked into the back of the sheath is a magnesium fire starter rod, to set the kindling on fire. Vaughn was one of the original 3 custom knife makers that comprised Timberline Knives.
