Comment: This knife features a frame handle. The Damascus frame has scales added. An exceptional aspect of this knife is that the Turkish Twist appears as if the ends have been cut giving this Damascus the look of stars and concentric circles. The blade tang is inserted through the guard and into the frame. A more complex way to build a knife is to have the guard and frame fit together precisely. Also, this knife features the “Museum Fit.” The handle material is just slightly above the tang. Difficult to do because of the precision required to keep the handle material at an equal distance above the tang around the entire handle. All in all, a stunning knife both in construction and visual appeal. Bob is an ABS Journeyman Smith.
