Comments: George started making knives in 1953. He was one of the founding members of the US Knifemakers Guild. When I started collecting in the mid-80’s, I was told new collectors should focus on Stones, Bones and Randalls. Over the years I have owned more Stones and Bones than I can remember. GW was known for building a high-quality knife at a fair price. As you can imagine most knives 50+ years old come with a little wear. This knife is in mint condition. The knife features great handle ergonomics and as you can imagine with the pommel, it is a little handle heavy. Built for serious use. Serial #72.
